• Requirements for Crawford County Deputy Sheriff:  The application process for Road Deputy Sheriff is OPEN!
  
  Applicants must be 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent with a valid POST Certification. Applicants must be of good moral character, have no felony or disqualifying misdemeanor convictions, be able to type 30 words per minute, be of appropriate physical and mental health to meet the stringent physical and emotional demands of the profession, and pass pre-employment testing; including but not limited to panel interview, fitness test, and be able to pass background checks including drug testing, truth verification examination (CVSA), and final review board.  Applicants must be able to speak, hear, read, and write English and have the ability to touch, smell, and distinguish colors. Applicants must be willing to work any shift including weekends.

Applicants will be assigned to a school district to keep School district employees and students safe.

  Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. You must be able to type 60 words per minute. Must be able to pass a background check. Applicants must be able to speak, hear, read, and write English. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.

  Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Must be able to pass a background check. Applicants must be able to speak, hear, read, and write English. Applicant must be willing to work in high-risk areas of the facility and confined areas. General maintenance knowledge is required, computer skills will be necessary, and willingness to be called in after hours and on weekends for emergencies.
