Criminal Investigations Division

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division is headed by Lt. Eric Wilbanks. The investigations division consists of three criminal investigators. We also employ a Task Force Officer/Detective that works closely with our Drug Task Force, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group.

Investigators typically conduct follow-up on felony level offenses including, but not limited to, death investigation, sexual assault, burglary, stealing, and property damage. 

Additionally, the investigators are involved with Sex Offender Compliance Checks and Enforcements.

Investigators also serve in an on-call capacity so that criminal investigations may be supplemented at anytime.
